How to Get the Beta for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker

A brand new Naruto game is on the horizon with Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, letting you team up with other players to battle it out in 4 vs 4 PvP modes. There are a ton of different characters from both Naruto and Boruto, so you’ll most likely have your favorite represented. While the game isn’t out quite yet, Bandai Namco is holding a second beta for the game. If you’re wanting to try Shinobi Striker out, the current beta is free and open, and it’s pretty easy to download too.

To get the beta all you need to do is head to the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store and search “Shinobi Striker.” You should see a few different options but make sure to click on the page titled “Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Beta Test Ver. 2.” After that, all you need to do is select download and you’ll be ready to roll. This version of the beta will include “Four maps, 25 kinds of [ninjutsu], new customization options for characters, and a new playable character, Yamato.” In addition to this, the open beta will feature “both single-player and 8v8 PVP modes [with] two new PVP battle modes: ‘Destruction Battle’ and ‘Base Battle,’ which will be available during specific sessions.” For your information, here are the dates and times the current beta will run.

  • July 19th (Thurs): 11:00 PM PDT – July 20th (Fri) 2:00 AM PDT

  • July 20th (Fri): 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM PDT
  • July 21st (Sat):
    • 2:00AM – 5:00 AM PDT
    • 10:00AM – 1:00PM PDT
    • 6:00PM – 9:00PM PDT
    • 11:00PM – 2:00AM PDT (July 22nd)
  • July 26th (Thurs) 11:00PM PDT– July 28th (Sat) 11:00PM PDT

The timing is a bit complicated, but you’ll have plenty of opportunities to test out your ninja-battling skills. If you happen to miss out don’t worry as Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will be available on Aug. 31, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
