After a long wait, Shin Megami Tensei V is finally getting released for the Nintendo Switch this month. The game puts players in control of the Nahobino, a high school student with the power to command demons in battle, and you’re tasked with fighting various demons and angels in an apocalyptic desert wasteland version of Tokyo. This is a pretty tough game, and you’ll need to use everything at your disposal to get through the challenges. Here’s how to unlock Miracles in Shin Megami Tensei V.
Miracles are skills and passive buffs you can unlock in Shin Megami Tensei V, and they can give you a serious advantage in combat. There are Miracles that help you charge up your Magatsuhi gauge faster in battle, while others will improve the Nahobino’s elemental mastery, give your fused demons extra experience and skills, or increase your total number of skill slots.
All of these cost Glory, which can be obtained by finding Miman and opening the glowing white chests you see while exploring.
Unlocking Miracles in Shin Megami Tensei V
At the start of the game, you’ll only be able to learn a few Miracles in the World of Shadows, but you can unlock more as you clear out Abscesses on the map.
An Abscess is indicated by a glowing red icon on your map, and you can tell you’re near one when your mini-map becomes hard to read because of the red fog being generated by the Abscess itself. When you’re near it, demons will spawn and start rushing towards you, and you need to run straight to the Abscess to trigger a fight. Win the fight, and the Abscess will be cleared, and you’ll be able to learn more Miracles at the World of Shadows.
It’s possible to beat the game without clearing out all of the Abscesses, but we definitely recommend going out of your way to clear them whenever you see one. The Miracles are incredibly useful, and will make your life a lot easier in the long run.
That’s all you need to know about how to unlock more Miracles in Shin Megami Tensei V. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
