Where to Get Dragonrot Blood Sample in Sekiro
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest third-person action game from FromSoftware, and it comes with its fair share of cryptic mechanics to get a hang of. Here’s where to get the Dragonrot blood sample in Sekiro.
Early on in the game, you’ll learn about the Dragonrot disease, which spreads to the world as Wolf continues to die and resurrect. The more you die, the more the disease will spread to other NPCs in Sekiro.
Once the Sculptor catches the disease, you can talk to Emma at the Dilapidated Temple, who informs you that she needs a Dragonrot blood sample to do some research into the disease and see if there’s anything she can do about it. All you have to do is speak to an NPC who’s been infected.
In our playthrough of Sekiro, we managed to get the Dragonrot blood sample by talking to the vendor near the Outskirts Wall – Stairway Sculptor’s Idol.
However, we believe that you can talk to any infected NPCs for whom you’ve received the Rot Essence key item for.
For instance, if you check your key items in Sekiro, look for the Rot Essence items, which will clue you in to who’s been affected. The Rot Essence: Fine Son item describes the injured son found in Ashina Outskirts, and you’d probably be able to get the Dragonrot blood sample by talking to him as well.
What To Do With It
Once you have the Dragonrot blood sample, head back to Emma and hand it over. She’ll then give you the Dragon’s Blood Droplet item.
You can either use this as a regular item to increase Resurrective Power, or use it at the Sculptor’s Idol to heal the Dragonrot disease for all NPCs. But of course, the disease will continue to spread as you continue dying in Sekiro.
That’s all you need to know about where to get the Dragonrot blood sample in Sekiro. Be sure to check our Sekiro guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
