Joining the Order of Souls Faction in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves features a few basic companies and factions at the start of the game, and one of them is the Order of Souls. Unlike the Gold Hoarders and Merchant Alliance, this is a combat-based faction that requires you to kill skeletons and undead armies and bring back their skulls for rewards.

Similar to the other two factions, you’ll get a map after starting a voyage, and you’ll simply have to head to your destination and kill the skeletons before defeating the boss and taking his skull. After that, bring the skull back to the NPC and you’ll be rewarded. The more voyages and bounties you complete for the Order of Souls, the more your faction rank will increase. Once you hit level 5, you’ll be able to claim a free item from the equipment shop called the Mystic Follower. Buy it and equip it, and you’ll have the Mystic Follower title underneath your username, which will be visible to other players who encounter you in the game.

Ranking up in the Order of Souls will also allow you to buy special cosmetic items in the game, as well as even more titles you can affix to your username.
