How to Get Pets in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer adventure game best played with friends, but who’s to say you can’t bring a little friend along with you? Players can actually purchase pets and keep them on their ship. While you can hold and play with your cute pal, you can also launch it using your cannon. No need to worry, though, your pet will come out of it unscathed and cute as ever. Although it probably isn’t such a good idea to send your friend’s pet flying away.

As for where and when you can get one, pets are planned to be added in three months after the game’s release. For now, fans will have to wait until June or so before trotting along with either a cat or a monkey. It’s worth noting that pets will are considered as microtransactions, so you’ll have to buy them with real money. Moreover, the developers haven’t revealed if you can unlock your own furry friends in the game itself. They will be available for purchase in the upcoming Premium Shop, and we’ll update this post as soon as we learn more about pets.
