How to Eat Food in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Pirate action-adventure game Sea of Thieves launches today for Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, allowing players to navigate the vast ocean in search of buried treasure and sing sea shanties. The ocean can be a harsh environment though, and you can encounter other rival pirate gangs fighting your crew for the same resources. Guns and violence will be necessary to defend your booty, but eating food is just as important to not die or be sent to Davy Jones’ Locker.

Food can heal when you are low on health. For example, bananas can restore a player’s health by 25%. In order to eat food, you have to equip it first. Press and hold the LB shoulder button to bring up the equipment wheel, then hold the right stick in whatever direction the bananas are. If you have too many items and the bananas are not seen, press the X button to reveal a second item wheel. Then press the right trigger to eat the food and gain an amount of health back to continue your journey in Sea of Thieves.

That is how to eat food in Sea of Thieves. Be sure to check back with Twinfinite for more coverage on the game, as well as our extensive wiki for more Sea of Thieves guides.
