How to Get More Clothes in Sea of Thieves

Recommended Videos

Clothes are the primary way to make yourself stand out from the crowd in Sea of Thieves. Whether you’re buying a fancy jacket, an old Bilge Rat Hat, or a new belt, there are plenty of options when it comes to what you want to wear.

New clothing can be acquired at General Clothing Shops on the outpost islands throughout the world of Sea of Thieves. Once you reach an outpost, look for the building with a sign of a boot hanging above the door. Go inside and talk to the shop owner to pull up the shop menu.

Just remember that while there are plenty of clothing options, they all cost gold, and if you want to be the spiffiest pirate on the seas, you’re going to spend a lot of gold on clothes.

As of now, there are three different clothes and outfit sets available for purchase. The Sailor collection is the clothing all pirates start their adventure in, the Bilge Rat outfit is tattered and offers that well-worn look, and Admiral clothing offers a clean upper-class look. Those who pre-ordered the game have access to the Black Dog outfit. And anyone who bought the Sea of Thieves Xbox One controller will have the Ferryman clothing set.

Besides clothing, General Clothing Shops also sell vanity items such as hairstyles, beards, eyepatches, peg legs, hooks, and titles for your character.

That’s all the information we have about how to get more clothes in Sea of Thieves. For more information on the game, check out our wiki page.
