Resident Evil 7 – Increasing Inventory Space

Recommended Videos

Inventory management is back in Resident Evil 7, which means that you can run out of space pretty quickly if you don’t manage your items properly. Thankfully, there are a few inventory upgrades you can pick up throughout the course of the game, and these will increase the number of slots you have.

Listed below are the inventory upgrades we’ve found so far.

Upgrade 1: Once you’ve gained access to the old house, go to the save room and look for the upgrade sitting next to the tape recorder.

Upgrade 2: After beating Marguerite in the greenhouse and finding the arm, Lucas will tell you to go back to the Dissection Room. Here, you’ll get the Snake Key. Once you’ve obtained it, you can unlock the door to the master bedroom and pick up the next upgrade item.

Upgrade 3: From where you got the Fuse key item, open the locked door on the opposite end of the room to find a ship. This door can only be opened with a Corrosive, which you will obtain as part of the main story. The third upgrade item can be found inside the ship.

These are all the inventory upgrades found so far, and we’ll be sure to update the guide as we discover more.
