Resident Evil 3 Controls Guide

Getting used to the controls in any game is the first challenge any player has to overcome. If you’re struggling to do exactly that in Resident Evil 3’s Remake, fear not. We’re here with this Resident Evil 3 controls guide to break down the various inputs and control types you can choose from in the game.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Controls

As we noted above, there are the default controls that players will start off with in the game. We’ve included the controller layout, as well as a full list of inputs below for those who prefer text form.

If the default control scheme doesn’t feel right for you, you do have two alternative control schemes. These mainly just change the inputs for Dodging/ Charging, Running, and Quick Turning, alternating them between the Circle, left stick + L3, and R1 buttons.

Xbox One

The controls on Xbox One are more or less a carbon copy of those on PS4. We’ve listed all of these commands next to their corresponding Xbox One controller input below.

PC

  • Aim weapon – Right Click
  • Attack – Left Click
  • Interact – Right Click
  • Reload – R
  • Dodge – Space
  • Switch Ammo – E
  • Change Weapon – Numbers 1-4
  • Move Left – A
  • Move Forward – W
  • Move Right – D
  • Move Back – S
  • Run – Shift
  • Quick Turn – Q
  • Reset Camera – Middle Mouse Button/ Alt
  • Pause Menu – P
  • Open Map – M
  • Open Inventory Screen – Tab
  • Go Up a Floor on Map – T
  • Go Down a Floor on Map – G
  • Sort (Item Box) – Tab
  • Move Item (Item Box) – Shift
