This Re Rangers X tier list is the definitive ranking of units in the game based on their strength and utility across all game content. Use it as a guide on which units you should bring into combat, as well as which units to prioritize when summoning and upgrading. More details on each unit’s pros and cons, as well as the best traits for them, are included below the tier list.
Re Rangers X Tier List
We created two tier lists for Re Rangers X (RRX), with one being the general tier list (all units separated by roles), and the other being an elements tier list (all units separated by element and ranked by DPS). The general tier list ranks all units based on their strength compared to other units of the same role (DPS, Tank, and Support). On the other hand, the elements tier list ranks all the best DPSs for each element, which is important for stages with bosses, and where elemental counters can make or break your run.
General Re Rangers X Tier List (DPS, Tank, & Support)

In the image above, you can find the tier list of all units in Re Rangers X based on their performance in all game modes (we excluded useless low-rarity units to keep it clean). The units are separated into three sections (DPS (S, A, B, and C tiers), Tank, and Support) based on their primary role.
Generally, the higher the rarity of a unit, the better its stats and passives are, and therefore, it will perform better in high-difficulty content. Note that some units have their use as meatshields or supports, even if they are low rarity (more details about those are in the sections below).
Elements Re Rangers X Tier List

In the image above, you can find the tier list of units in Re Rangers X based on their element (the further to the left a unit is, the stronger it is). Exploiting elemental advantage (1.5x DMG) is crucial for dealing with certain bosses and stages, especially if you don’t have all the meta units.
Ranking Factors
- DPS: The DPS of a unit from its basic attacks and basic ability is the most important ranking factor, especially in high-difficulty stages that are nothing but DPS checks. Stats such as Attack/Ability DMG, Crit Rate/DMG, Attack/Ability Cooldown, etc., all affect a unit’s total DPS.
- Spawn Limit & Send Cooldown: The Spawn Limit of a unit affects both its total DPS and tank potential. Send Cooldown is also important, especially for tank units and DPS units used for quick grinding of stages and farming materials/currency.
- Spawn & Upgrade Costs: Spawn and Upgrade costs are more important early on, before you’ve maxed out your stats. Still, it’s an important factor to consider, especially for difficult stages that require precise money management.
- Passives: Each unit has passives that affect its tankiness, DPS, and support potential. They can make a unit extremely OP, even if it has lackluster basic stats.
- Ultimates: Some units have Ultimate abilities (usually unlocked after evolving them) that can provide nuke damage, buffs, CC, or some other utility. Some units are viable solely because of their insanely strong Ultimate abilities.
- Support Potential: Most units focus on DPS, but there are some that focus on providing buffs, CC, or some other form of utility for the team. These units are indispensable for defeating more difficult stages.
- Tank Potential: Units with low Send Cooldown, low Spawn Cost, low Range, and high Speed are especially good as meatshields against enemies that can one-shot your units and have long cooldowns. High-rarity units that have high HP/resistances or damage negation are also amazing as designated tanks.
- Range, Speed, and Other Stats: There are many stats, and depending on the unit’s role, they can be both good and bad. For example, a tank unit with 30 Range will not even reach the enemies, completely nullifying its role as a tank. On the other hand, a DPS unit with 5 Range will go into melee too often and die too quickly. It’s the balance of the stats and how they fit the unit, and its role in the team that matters the most.
