How to Fast Travel in Rage 2

Because this is an open world game with a fairly large world map, Rage 2 offers a fast travel feature that allows you to get around pretty quickly and efficiently.

To fast travel, all you have to do is bring up the map with the touchpad (or View button if you’re on Xbox One), and select the place you want to go to. Fast travel points in the game are unlocked simply by visiting destinations physically in the game.

From what we’ve played of the game so far, it looks like only trade towns or settlements are available as fast travel points in Rage 2. For instance, you’ll be able to warp over to Gunbarrel or Wellspring anytime you want, once you’ve visited those locations at least one time in the game.

To do this, hover your cursor over your desired destination, then press the square button (or X button if you’re on Xbox One) to teleport there. This makes traveling around the open world much easier, as you no longer have to drive around the vast expanse in your vehicle.

Of course, because there are so many unknown and undiscovered locations in the game, it’s still recommended that you drive around to explore a little every once in a while. There are tons of resources to collect, which will help make your journey easier.

That’s all you need to know about how to fast travel in Rage 2. Be sure to check our Rage 2 guide wiki or search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
