How to Activate Titan Stars & What They Do in Pyre

Recommended Videos

If you’ve been having a browse at Pyre’s extensive trophy list, you may have noticed that there are a few trophies related to activating Titan Stars and emerging victorious from a Rite. Of course, if you’re going for the platinum trophy, you’ll want to know exactly how to activate these and what it is they do.

Titan Stars basically put the odds in your adversaries’ favor. Whether it’s reducing the number of hit points that your pyre has at the very beginning of a Rite, increasing their speed or stamina, or reducing the amount of damage you do to their pyre, these are not your friends. Fortunately, Titan Stars do reward you with way more enlightenment (the game’s name for experience) if you come out on top, so if you think you can still come out on top, be sure to give it a try.

In order to activate Titan Stars, you’ll need to wait until a little later in the game. There are 12 of them you can unlock and these will gradually become available to you as you progress through the story. You don’t have to do anything in particular, just wait for the game to reveal them. Once they appear in the sky, before a Rite, simply press X on the star sign of the Titan Stars you want to activate and then proceed to the Rite as usual.
