Anyone who has ever played a video game knows that every now and then there will be a player who just ruins the game, especially in shooters like PUBG. Whether it’s cheating, harassment, teamkillers, or all of the above, some players need to learn the hard way. Here is everything you need to know about how to report a player in PUBG.
The first thing you’ll need to know about reporting players on any version of PUBG, whether its PC, PS4, Xbox One, or Mobile, is the player name or player ID.
Once you know who the culprit is, go to the Recent players’ section under the Invite tab. This is where things will differ depending on what platform you are playing on.
How to Report a Player in PUBG on Mobile
Once you’ve entered the Invite tab on mobile, click on the player’s name and copy their profile name or ID.
Next, you’ll see a triangle icon located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Clicking the drop-down and you’ll be given an option for Report.
When you click on Report, make sure that the Others checkbox is selected. When it is, right whether the culprit was cheating, harassing, or teamkilling, as well as the name you copied, and then hit submit.
How to Report Players on Console and PC
For console and PC players, you can report players both in-game, as well as after.
To report a player in-game, hover over them in the lobby and click on their name. An option is given to report the player, with a drop-down asking you to select your suspicion. After selecting your suspicion, simply hit report.
To report a player after the game, you can just go to the invite tab and do the same thing.
There is also an option to report a player directly on PUBG’s official website. All you’ll need to do is have the following information.
- Your Game Nickname
- Nickname of the user you are reporting
- Time/Date of the incident
- Description of the incident
When you’ve gathered that information, compile it all in a support ticket and hit submit.
Keep in mind that video evidence is also very useful in getting these offenders banned as well.
