However, today marks the release of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – updated versions of the 2016 releases – offering plenty of neat, new little features for players to enjoy. Mantine Surf is one of these, allowing players to surf on the stingray-like Pokemon, pulling off tricks to earn Beach Points. Here’s what you need to know to play the Mantine Surf minigame in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Mantine Surf is actually a minigame you can play as you travel between the different islands of the Alola region. All you need to do is head to the beach surf spot on each island and set sail for another. As the game loads your destination, you’ll be treated to the Mantine Surf minigame. Remember, those Beach Points convert into Battle Points in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, so don’t forget to spend them!
