What Kangaskhan’s Weakness Is in Pokemon Let’s Go

Kangaskhan is a dangerous enemy that can thrash foes with Normal-type moves. If you’re having trouble beating it, here’s what Kangaskhan’s Weakness is in Pokemon Let’s Go.

Unlike some of the other ‘mon in Pokemon Let’s Go, this one is a bit less nuanced. Kangaskhan only has one type, which is Normal. It’s basically considered the plainest type in all of the Pokemon games, having no real advantage over any of the other types.

However, they only have one real weakness: Fighting-types. If you have a Hitmonchan or Machoke in your party, you can decimate Normal-types with your wide array of physical Fighting-types moves.

The same rings true for Kangaskhan, with Fighting-types being its only real weakness. Luckily, there are plenty of Fighting-types you can catch on your journey in Pokemon Let’s Go.

If none of them strike your fancy, you can simply teach specific moves to your Pokemon instead. There are some Pokemon that can learn Fighting-type moves from certain TMs, such a Brick Break.

Most attacks also deal decent damage against Normal-types, so you won’t have to avoid bringing along any certain types when fighting against a Kangaskhan in Pokemon Let’s Go. Its Normal-type attacks won’t have any effect if you’re using a Ghost-Type but expect it to have a few other elemental moves up its sleeve.

How to Get Kangaskhan

If you want this powerful Pokemon in your party, you’ll have to catch it first. Luckily, it isn’t exclusive to either Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee, so you can get one regardless of what version you’re playing.

To find one out in the field, you will want to head on over to Rock Cave. This is an incredibly rare ‘mon with only a 01% chance of spawning. When it does, it will be around level 18-23.

Rock Tunnel is your best bet of finding one, so that means you’ll need to put in some work when it comes to chain-catching for a shiny version. The payoff is worth it though since it’s one of the better ‘mons you can get in the game.

That’s about everything you need to know about Kangaskhan’s weakness in Pokemon Let’s Go. For more tips and tricks on the game, check out our handy wiki filled with other useful guides.
