Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Leafeon and Glaceon in Pokemon GO.

How to Get Leafeon & Glaceon in Pokemon GO

Name Trick Evolutions

You can get them in a couple of ways, one of which is almost the same way as the previous Eeveelutions. There is a naming trick that allows you to rename an Eevee to certain things before you evolve to ensure that they turn into the Eeveelution you want. The names you need are:

  • Glaceon: Rea
  • Leafeon: Linnea

Just as was the case with the previous name tricks, it will only work once for each name. However, the other way of getting Leafeon and Glaceon allows you to choose, so the name trick only working once doesn’t really matter.

Lure Evolutions in Pokemon GO

The other way to get the two new Eeveelutions is quite new to the game. You can also evolve them from new lures and you can essentially choose by evolving an Eevee when in the range of the correct lure.

To get Glaceon, you can evolve in the Glacial Lure and for Leafeon you can use the Mossy Lure. To get the Lures, you need to head to the store section of Pokemon GO. They cost 200 coins each, and work in the same way as normal lures.

You can get both new Eeveelutions from the name change trick, but if you want any more of them afterwards, you’ll have to use the Lure Modules.
