Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire takes place on the open seas of the Deadfire Archipelago where piracy runs rampant. To get from point A to point B, you might have to deal with a few pirates along the way, or hell, you might be the one doing the pirating yourself. Or if you run into a spot of bad luck, you might have to navigate through a dangerous storm. In either scenario, your ship will eventually take damage, and you’ll need to repair it.

To repair your ship in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, you need to first have repair supplies. You can pick up repair materials from the resupply option while at a city. Just travel to any city, and click resupply on the bottom part of the city map. This is where you can buy all kinds of ship supplies like food and water, and of course, repair supplies.

Unlike food and water, which must be put in a special inventory in order to take effect, you don’t need to do anything else to repair your ship. Simply having it in your inventory is enough. Every hour while you travel around, your crew will work on repairing the ship using the supplies that you gave them. Simple as that!
