This isn’t something that’s every explained in-game, and it’s entirely possible for even veteran players this miss this as well. Essentially, whenever you enter the TV world on a rainy day, you have a chance of encountering rainy day enemies that can drop special materials. These materials can then be sold to Daidara for him to craft powerful equipment for your characters.

You only need one of each material in order to unlock the weapons for sale. When speaking with Daidara, you can opt to sell all raw materials, and you’ll be able to purchase the weapons from him after that.

Rainy day enemies will start appearing from the Steamy Bathhouse dungeon onward, and we’ve listed them all down below:

  • Rainy Brother 4: Halls 1 and 2 of Steamy Bathhouse, drops 4th Boy’s Talc for Arazuyu Fan
  • Rainy Sister 4: Halls 7 and 8 of Steamy Bathhouse, drops 4th Girl’s Talc for Reign Skinner
  • Rainy Sister 3: Floors 1 to 4 of Marukyu Striptease, drops 3rd Girl’s Talc for Akisame Fan
  • Rainy Brother 3: Floors 5 and 6 of Marukyu Striptease, drops 3rd Boy’s Talc for Downpour Sword
  • Rainy Sister 2: Chapters 3 and 4 of Void Quest, drops 2nd Girl’s Talc for Amagyou Fan
  • Rainy Brother 2: Chapters 7 and 8 of Void Quest, drops 2nd Boy’s Talc for Typhoon Claw
  • Rainy Sister 1: B1F and B2F of Secret Laboratory, drops 1st Girl’s Talc for Niagra Climber
  • Rainy Brother 1: B1F and B2F of Secret Laboratory, drops 1st Boy’s Talc for Bloody Kunai

These enemies look different to regular shadows, and will appear as floating masks attached to red gas, as opposed to the black blob shadows.
