Persona 4 Golden: How to Continue Marie’s Social Link (Aeon)

Persona 4 Golden is finally arriving on PC this month, marking the first time the series will actually be available on that platform. Golden is a huge step up from vanilla P4, giving players two new social links to rank up, and more story content to dive into. Advancing some of these isn’t always very straightforward, though; here’s how to continue Marie’s Aeon social link in Persona 4 Golden.

Continuing Marie’s Social Link (Aeon) in Persona 4 Golden

Marie’s social link can be unlocked very early on in the game, even before you rescue Yukiko from the first dungeon. However, it’s also the only social link in the game that features multiple progress gates, requiring you to do something else before you can continue her story.

Thankfully, it’s not all that hard to continue her social link. Marie’s social link is tied to story progress, and requires you to go through the main story and unlock all the main party members as her social link events usually involve the main cast of characters.

Whenever you hit a roadblock in her social link and she refuses to hang out with you, don’t fret; all you have to do is just continue the story and clear the next dungeon to get the next character. The next time you get a free day off, you should be able to talk to Marie and progress as per normal.

In addition to that, if you want to unlock the new Golden epilogue after the true ending, you’ll need to have maxed out her social link by Dec. 3. This will put you on the true ending path, and also allow you to unlock the new dungeon exclusive to P4G.
