There are a wide array of heroes for you to unlock in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, but you’ll need to complete certain requirements for each one. That’s why we’re here to walk you through how to unlock every character in the game.

How to Unlock Every Character in One Punch Man A Hero Nobody Knows

As you make your way through the story of One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, you’ll meet and/or fight a variety of characters from the game. More often than not, these characters will become available for play in the game’s versus mode afterwards, and can even come to your aid as teammates in later fights.

Included below is the full roster list of characters, along with the missions or requirements you need to complete to unlock them. Note that we’re still making our way through the game, and that we’ll add the information for characters unlocked later into the game as we obtain the necessary information.

Atomic SamuraiComplete the Hero Association Special Mission “Monster Busting With Weapons (mission is available after the completion of the Sea King arc).
Metal KnightAvailable after completing the side mission “Putting Down a Robot Monster” (unlocked after completing the Sea King arc and available at the Hero Association HQ).

Metal BatAvailable after he saves you from a group of hoodlums during the main story (Cannot be skipped or missed).
Tank Top MasterAvailable at the start of the game.
Tank-top Black HoleAvailable at the start of the game.
Mumen RiderAvailable after encountering him during the story; specifically, during a mission where you need to team up with him to save some civilians (Cannot be skipped or missed).
Tank-top TigerAvailable at the start of the game.
Speed-o’-SonicUnlocked by completing the main story mission where you hunt down rumors of someone attacking heroes. (Cannot be missed or skipped over)
Vaccine ManUnlocked after he is defeated by Saitama (unlocked automatically for completing the first arc of the game. Cannot be skipped/missed).
Mosquito GirlUnlocked after she is defeated by Saitama (unlocked automatically for completing the second arc of the game. Cannot be skipped/missed).
Child EmperorSpeak to Child Emperor at the Hero Association HQ. He’ll appear after you’re notified to go there during the Deep Sea King arc.
Pajama SaitamaAvailable at the start of the game.
Carnage KabutoUnlocked after he is defeated by Saitama (Unlocked automatically after you complete the main mission’s tied to the House of Evolution. Cannot be skipped/missed).
CrablanteAvailable at the start of the game.
BorosAvailable after he is defeated by Saitama and the game is completed (Cannot be skipped or missed).
MelzargardAvailable after he’s defeated during the Boros arc; specifically, before you go up onto Boros’ ship (cannot be skipped or missed).
