All Ways to Get Star Bulbs

  1. Finding Star Brambles

If you come across any planets with tons of plants and vegetation, chances are you’ll find Star Brambles.

Star Bulbs can be harvested from Star Brambles, so be sure to use your analyzer to find this growing wild on planets.

It’s worth noting that to harvest these from Brambles, you’ll need Hazmat Gloves.

  2. Farming Star Bulbs

Set up a base on any planet that you choose, and then build Agricultural Terminals.

Each one of these can grow a Star Bramble crop, which will be complete in 30 minutes and ready for you to harvest a Star Bulb from.

Rinse and repeat this for an easy way to farm Star Bulbs in No Man’s Sky.

It’s possible to refine Paraffinium and Oxygen, and Paraffinium and Nitrogen into these, but you’ll need a Refiner to do that.

What Star Bulbs Are Used For in No Man’s Sky

Star Bulbs are a core material you’ll need for crating Poly Fibre. This is used to make a Circuit Board, which itself is integral to building yourself a really cool base.

Not only this, you’ll find they’re generally quite useful and required throughout No Man’s Sky’s storyline, so it’s well worth keeping hold of any you do find, rather than trading or selling them.
