Getting and Using Divine Rice in Nioh 2

Divine Rice is kind of like a currency item that you can use to exchange for other valuables in Nioh 2. More specifically, you can spend Divine Rice at the brand new Kodama Bazaar to purchase items to help you out in combat or during exploration while on a mission.

By far the easiest way to obtain Divine Rice is to offer up your unwanted equipment at the shrine. While interacting with the shrine, choose the Make Offering option, then choose Make an Offering.

This will bring up a list of all the weapons you have in your possession right now, and you can offer them up in exchange for some Amrita or money, as well as Divine Rice. Essentially, the more powerful or valuable the weapon is, the more Divine Rice you’ll get in return. Because of this, you can actually farm equipment very easily by defeating enemies in an area and getting lucky with your drops, then turning your unwanted stuff in for more Rice.

How to Use Divine Rice in Nioh 2

As mentioned previously, Divine Rice is a currency that you can make use of at the Kodama Bazaar. While interacting with the shrine, choose the Make Offering option, then choose the Kodama Bazaar.

As you rescue more Kodamas and bring them back to the shrine in Nioh 2, more items will become available for sale here, including Elixirs and Ochoko Cups. Simply select the item you want to purchase, then spend your Rice on it.

To recap, here’s how to get and use Divine Rice in Nioh 2:

  1. From the shrine, make an offering by turning in your unwanted equipment in exchange for more Rice.

  2. Choose the Kodama Bazaar option while interacting with the shrine to see what items are for sale, then spend Rice to get them.
