How to Make Nintendo Switch Graphics Better on TV
When the Nintendo Switch was first revealed it was met with equal parts hype train, Nintendo fandom, and skepticism. While the concept itself seemed exciting, the idea of a hybrid console is one that has been attempted in the past without much success. All eyes were on Nintendo to see if they could finally perfect the hybrid console concept. Well, roughly 10 months and more than 10 million units later, it’s clear to see that the Switch is excelling in a way that fans expected and doubters never would have guessed. Despite the Nintendo Switch putting many concerns to rest for the most part, like fears that the console would be too heavy, uncomfortable, or not powerful enough to support a wide variety of games, there are still some complaints floating around when it comes to Nintendo’s latest shining star.
When docking the Nintendo Switch to play in TV mode, some players have found that the quality of the console’s graphics takes a bit of a dive when it comes to color. Colors that were once vibrant and eye-catching now become a bit dull when switched to the TV. Fortunately, the solution is incredibly simple and it will only take a few seconds. All you need to do is access the Nintendo Switch’s settings and scroll all the way down to the TV Settings option. Once you’re here, select RGB Range and change it from Automatic to Full Range.
You will get your daily dose of instant gratification after changing this setting. Even the white color in the background immediately becomes more vibrant.
