We’ve had a nice break from the AAA games the released over the fall/holiday season late in 2019. The new Xbox One releases for February 2020 are a little more on the low-key side still but it’s the last bit of calm before a storm of big games start hitting in March. That said, there’s still some great games to check out, so let’s run through the list and pick out a few big games that you should keep an eye on.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics
New Xbox One Releases February 2020
I’m a sucker for anything with “tactics” in the name if I’m being honest. Give me gameplay where I gallivant around a grid, assign cool jobs/classes to my party members, and lead a unique roster of heroes in scenarios that require me to think a few moves ahead and I’m all in. Tactical RPG fans know what I’m talking about.
There aren’t that many FFT/Tactics Ogre-style tactical RPGs released these days, so The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, might be worth a look just for that.
If you’re a fan of the critically acclaimed show though, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, then getting to explore more of the universes’ lore, story and characters is just another layer of delicious icing on the cake.
Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
New Xbox One Releases February 2020
While PS4 owners got a bit of a head start last month, Xbox One owners won’t have to feel left out in the cold for much longer. The anticipated DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3 will arrive on Microsoft’s home console by the end of February.
I have to be honest, I’m not a Kingdom Hearts fan and having me try to explain the DLC to you would be futile. Fortunately our contributor Cristina Alexander provided me this elevator pitch to share with you Xbox One Kingdom Heart 3 fans.
“In KH3 Re: Mind, Sora goes on a journey to bring back Kairi, but in order to reach her, he must dive deep into the hearts of seven people and relive the moments in which they were fighting against Organization XIII.”
Sounds… very Kingdom Hearts-y to me! If you’re a big fan of the series, you don’t need me to explain the appeal, you probably already got it circled on your calendar.
Two Point Hospital
New Xbox One Releases February 2020
We loved Two Point Hospital back when it released last year, and seeing it come to console users now is quite the treat. The game it’s inspired by Theme Hospital which was released on home consoles too back in the day via the PlayStation 1. So it’s nice to see Two Point Hospital continue that tradition.
Two Point Hospital allows players to construct their own dream doctor’s office that is capable of handling all of the wacky illnesses that the people of Two Point County are constantly afflicted with.
You’ll need to balance both the construction and layout of the hospital versus making sure you have the correct personnel and services to treat everyone who comes into your hospital a proper and timely matter.
