Player Stats & Sprinting in NBA 2K20

Of course, it’s worth keeping in mind that just how fast your player runs around the court completely depends on their stats. That’s because the likes of Speed, Acceleration, Lateral Quickness, Height, and the Weight of each player determines just how fast they’ll be able to sprint in NBA 2K20, just as it would in real life.

Don’t Forget About Your Stamina

Additionally, keep in mind that every player has a stamina gauge that’ll deplete the more you sprint about the court. If you continue to just hold down the buttons listed above, you’ll exhaust your player’s stamina gauge and deplete the max stamina for them when it recovers.

As such, we’d advise using your sprint sparingly so that you’ve always got a bit of juice in the tank to sprint and break on a counter and catch your opposition off-guard. You could even set yourself up for an alley oop if you’re feeling particularly showboaty.

That’s everything you need to know on how to sprint and run faster around the court in NBA 2K20. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our guide wiki.
