Badges are one of the most important things you need to keep in mind when playing NBA 2K18. By getting more badges, your skills on the court will improve gradually, and you’ll also see an improve in your overall performance. Badges also help to increase your OVR rating, and will eventually help you achieve legend status.

Here are all of the badges you can upgrade in the game:

  • Bruiser
  • Post Spin Technician
  • Drop-Stepper
  • Brick Wall
  • Corner Specialist
  • Mid-Range Deadeye
  • Deep Range Deadeye
  • Limitless Range
  • Difficult Shots
  • Pick & Popper
  • Tireless Scorer
  • Catch & Shoot
  • Lob City Finisher
  • Posterizer
  • Putback King
  • Pick & Roller
  • Relentless Finisher
  • Hustle Rebounder
  • Defensive Stopper
  • Charge Card
  • Rim Protector
  • Free Throw Ace
  • Glue Hands
  • Quick Reflexes

To upgrade your badges, head over to the training facility and press the circle button to choose the ones you want to work on. You’ll then have to complete a drill on the training court. After the drill, you’ll gain experience points and progress towards whichever badge you chose, and the amount of experience depends on how well you performed.

You can only do three drills per day, so make sure to choose them wisely.
