How to Save Your Progress in My Time at Portia
You can get a lot done in a day in My Time at Portia if you put your mind to it, whether you’ve been exploring the abandoned cave, tending to your crops, or just fulfilling commissions for the rest of the town. Whatever it is you opt to spend your time on, you won’t want to have to retrace your steps and do it all over again because you quit the game and it didn’t save. This is made a tiny bit more likely to happen thanks to the fact that the game’s save settings aren’t exactly clear.
You won’t be able to save through any traditional means like a menu screen or a location. Instead, to save in My Time at Portia you’ll need to go to your bed and interact with it to sleep. By doing so, the game will save your progress automatically, so that when you load your game back up, you’ll start from the next morning. If you need to quickly turn off the game before the end of the day, you’ll want to head to sleep anyway.
There’s currently no other way to record your progress in My Time at Portia, so if you quit to the main menu in the middle of a day, you’re going to have to do everything you did all over again when you load it back up.
