How to Get an Armor Sphere in Monster Hunter World

Recommended Videos

If you want to upgrade your armor in Monster Hunter World and strengthen it a little, you’re going to need an Armor Sphere. These items can be spent to upgrade various pieces of your equipped armor (helmet, chest, arms, waist, and legs), and keep you from dying too quickly to stronger monsters. However, Armor Spheres aren’t exactly easy to come by.

While playing through Monster Hunter World, we found that Armor Spheres were obtainable via quest completion. After completing a quest, the rewards screen will show you all the materials you gained during the hunt, along with some bonus rewards. This is where you’ll get your Armor Sphere/s. Ideally, the better you perform during the mission, the better your rewards will be. This means that you’ll want to try to prevent fainting as much as possible so that you can get the best tier of rewards. If you complete the mission with only one life left, your rewards will be measly. The best way to get an Armor Sphere is by completing tasks and performing well in them.

Because they’re so rare, you’ll want to hold on to them until you’ve finally landed an armor set that you’re sure about investing in. That’s all you need to know to get an Armor Sphere or two in Monster Hunter World.
