After many a leak and rumor over the last few years, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered has finally been revealed and released. It may only feature the campaign, and not the hugely popular multiplayer mode, but it’ll still be worth jumping into. When Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Will Be on Xbox One?
As of the game’s release, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is only available on PS4. It costs $19.99 and is a timed exclusive on Sony’s console.
If you’re an Xbox One player though, you don’t need to worry as Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will be on your system very soon. The exclusivity period is running for a month, which means it will be coming to other platforms at the end of April.
To be precise, you will be able to buy Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on Xbox One on April 30 for the same price as it is on PS4.
This was confirmed in the game’s announcement today. It reads:
Relive the epic single-player Campaign from the 2009 blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, remastered in true high-definition.
Available now on PS4. Launching April 30 on other platforms. Buy or Pre-Purchase now and immediately get the UDT Classic Ghost Bundle for use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.
That means you can pre-purchase the game on Xbox One now and will have to wait a month to actually play it.
