Though it may be Shadow of War that’s just hit store shelves, many players will likely have fond memories of the nemesis they made back in Shadow of Mordor. That one high-ranked captain who you just couldn’t quite finish off. Well, Shadow of War allows you to import nemesis data from Shadow of Mordor so the battle can continue in the next chapter of Talion’s story.

In order to import nemesis data from Shadow of Mordor into Talion’s latest adventure, you’ll first need to load up the first game and ensure that the latest updates are all installed. Once you’ve done this, select the Nemesis Forge game mode. Doing so will result in the game picking out the strongest nemesis you had, as well as your most loyal orc follower and prepare them to be imported into the sequel.

Next, you’ll need to load up Shadow of War. Load up your game or start fresh and you should find that your Nemesis and Follower from the previous game are awaiting Talion once more.
