How to Upgrade Items in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

Metal Gear Solid is the latest entry in the action-adventure series developed by Konami. Players will take on the role of a survivor and undertake a slew of different missions in the game. There are plenty of skills and items at your disposal, so you’ll have to make the most out of them to survive the harsh battlefield.

That said, one question fans might have is how to upgrade their items. To do this, you will have to find the workbench for the item you want to upgrade. There are different workbenches in the game (such as gear, gadget, and weapons), so you’ll have to pick the one that falls under your item’s category. From there, choose the Customize option from the menu and pick the item you want to upgrade. You can then choose the Strengthen option and pull up a list of materials you need to improve your item. Assuming you have everything you need, you can start upgrading any items you have.

Use the different workbenches to your advantage to continue improving your gear. For more tips and tricks on Metal Gear Survive, make sure to check out our nifty guide!
