HOW TO CHARACTER IMPORT ARCHIVES RYDERS in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

The long wait for Mass Effect: Andromeda finally ended this week, and players will be busy creating their version of the main character – one of the most important parts of Mass Effect games in the eyes of many people.

Since Andromeda isn’t directly related to the story of the original trilogy, there is no character import option per se, or at least not in the way you are used to.

However, BioWare has created a website called Mass Effect Archives – a site that allows players to share the version of Ryder they created. Other players that do not want to make their own protagonist, or who want to borrow some creativity, can then import those Ryder creations for use in their own game. That is why the ‘Import Character’ option can be seen when you start the game.

However, Archives isn’t fully functional as of yet. It is currently in Beta and the full version will be available soon. When it launches you will be able to use import codes at the start up screen of the game to import the best creation you have seen on the website. We will update you whenever the site goes live.
