Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Put Weapons Away

How to Put Weapons Away in Mass Effect Andromeda

Recommended Videos

Mass Effect Andromeda is taking players to an entirely new world, one filled with alien species both friendly and hostile. Until you figure out which is which, you may want to learn how to put away that weapon of yours.

You’ll be holding a variety of guns during your playthrough, from sniper rifles to pistols to shotguns. At any time, to put these away, hit the touch pad button on the PS4 DualShock controller, or the Window button of the Xbox One controller. After that, you’ll have your hands free to scan the local environment, punch people in the face, and romance every living being in this new galaxy. Granted, you don’t technically need your weapon holstered to do any of these things, but there’s no harm in putting in some extra role-playing effort.

Now that you know how to put weapons away in Mass Effect Andromeda, be sure to stay tuned to check out our wiki guide for more guides, walkthroughs, and general info on the game, available now on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
