How to Recruit People in Mafia III

Recommended Videos

If you’re going to succeed in getting vengeance over the Italian Mafia in Mafia III, chances are you’re going to need more people (and more money) than what you start out with. As such, you’re probably wondering how to recruit people in Mafia III, so let’s tell you exactly how to do that.

One of the best ways to increase your income in Mafia III is by growing your crime operation. To do this, you should definitely consider recruiting people to your ranks. First off, you can recruit informants. Informants are low tier gangsters who will give you the information you need to track down a racket boss. Once you’ve isolated the informants from their allies, use a melee takedown on them to get the intel, and you’ll then be presented with a choice to either kill them or recruit them. Killing them will reward you with instantaneous cash, but recruiting them will add to your overall income in the long run, so it’s best to keep them alive if your thirst for blood can go without a few extra kills on your tally.

Similar with racket bosses, once you’ve tracked them down, you’ll have to confront them and use a melee takedown. You’ll be presented with the same choice of whether to kill or recruit them. It’s highly recommended that you recruit them, as a larger crime operation will increase the amount of income that you can earn. Unless you really need that cash fast, consider sparing these gangsters and getting them to join up with you.

That’s all you need to know to recruit people in the game. Mafia III is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Mafia III wiki.
