Madden 21, which usually marks the beginning of the busy fall release schedule, is out next week. As is always the case with EA games though, the release isn’t as straight forward as having one date. If you’re looking to play before the full release on Aug. 28, here’s everything you need to know about how to get Madden 21 early access with EA Access or EA Play.
The first thing to note is that EA Access is no longer the name of EA’s service. Just this week, they renamed it to EA Play on all platforms, so look for that on your system or store of choice.
How to Get Madden 21 Early Access with EA Access/EA Play
As of today, Aug. 21, you’ll be able to download a trial of Madden 21 via EA Play. The trial will be of the full game, but you’ll only be able to play for 10 hours before you’ll be locked out.
Simply install the EA Play app on your console or PC, open it, and head to the Game Trials tab. Select Madden 21 and you’ll be able to head to the store to download it. The full game will download, but you’ll be told how long left you have on your trial each time you open it.
Also, you can get early access to Madden 21 without using EA Access/EA Play if you buy a special edition of the game.
With the two more expensive versions, Deluxe and MVP, you’ll be able to start playing from Tuesday, Aug. 25. It’ll be the full game without any limit. If you have EA Play, you can treat the trial as practice for when the full version of Madden 21 comes out.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get Madden 21 early access with EA Access or EA Play. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide once it is live or search for Twinfinite.
