Lost Judgment: How to Find Ryan (Dueling Dojos Side Mission Guide)

Just like its predecessor, Lost Judgment features a lot of side missions and cases that Yagami can take up to gain experience and money. What is interesting about them this time around is that some of them carry over storylines and characters from the first game, including everyone’s favorite ninja, Ryan. Here is everything you need to know about how to find Ryan in Lost Judgment.

In order to get this mission, you’ll have to head over to the Yagami Detective Agency and select it on the Cases board. It is the only one at this location, so it is pretty hard to miss. Select it and note that Ryan says he’ll be in camouflage when you arrive.

How to Find Ryan in Lost Judgment

You’ll find the case file located at the M Side Cafe in Kamorocho. Head on over and go up the stairs into the elevated section of the restaurant. You won’t see Ryan sitting down anywhere, but you will hear him calling your name.

To find Ryan, all you have to do is turn around as soon as you go up the stairs and look directly up. Press R3 to go into observation mode then R2 to zoom in on Ryan sticking to the ceiling. Once you’ve examined the ninja, he pops off the ceiling for a chat.

Ryan will tell you that a rival ninja has been taking his students and that he’d like you to go undercover to find out why. After he gives you a ninja disguise, head over to the Dojo on Senryo Ave and talk to the ninja out front. He’ll say you need to have an outfit on to go in.

Open up the menu and put on the Ninja Outfit and then go talk to him again and he’ll let you pass. Watch a cutscene with Kalashnikov and then a chase will trigger.

Catch Kalashnikov and let the cutscene play out. He’ll take you to the next spot and challenge you to a game of darts. Simply pick the first game and try and get as most points as possible. Once you reach the later part of the game, you’ll need to aim at specific areas that are on the screen to win. For example, if you only have 14 points left, aim for a single 14.

Beat Kalashnikov at darts and then he’ll reveal he knows you’re a spy. Fight and defeat everyone to finish the quest. If you’re having any difficulty with the fight, I’d recommend Crane to clear out the ads and dodge his sword.
