Spoiler Warning: Though we’re not going in-depth into the story of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm in this optional graffiti guide, there will be a few small spoilers regarding locales that feature in the episode, as well as brief mentions of what happens to give you a place of reference. We advise playing the episode first, and then using collector mode with this guide to pick off any you might have missed.

Once you’ve had your conversation with Principal Wells, your mom, Rachel Amber, and her parents, you’ll find yourself in the parking lot. Look for the brown box in the back of a white truck to the right of the steps you start by. Interact with the lighting here and you’ll get the first optional graffiti in Before the Storm episode two.

Radical Piratical

For this one, you’re going to need to get onto that boat in the junkyard. To do this, use the wooden palette just next to its rear end. Use the palette to climb up and get onto the boat, and then interact with the car hood to your left as soon as you climb aboard for this optional graffiti.

Feels on Wheels

Once Chloe has finished sprucing up the inside of the old van in the junkyard, she’ll take some time to quickly chill out while she waits for Rachel and Frank to arrive. Before smoking a cigarette, interact with the back of the truck’s cabin to get this optional graffiti.

Canon Wall

Once Rachel has come and dropped some stuff off for you at the junkyard, you’ll make your way to the little shack towards the back of this area. Once inside and Chloe has put the bag down, you’ll find a spot on the wall to the right of the bag that you can interact with. You won’t get to choose what Chloe writes here, but you’ll get the trophy or achievement for the optional graffiti all the same.

Wishlist

For this one, we’re going to mess with good ol’ Frank. Once you’re inside his RV and are free to move around, you’re going to want to look for his shopping list on the side. It’s on your left if you’re facing the back of the RV. Choose whichever optional graffiti you like and watch as Chloe gets to work on another wonderful creation.

Friendly Forest Friends

You’ll likely pop Friendly Forest Friends after the next optional graffiti in the game. For this one, though, you’ll need to first spot the white door in the maintenance room that Samuel is in at Blackwood Academy. You’ll need to get Samuel out of there, so first go mess up the sprinkler.

Of course, Evan is right by it, too, so you’ll need to scare the bird off toward the totem pole to have him chase after it. Once the coast is clear, damage the sprinkler and then wait until Samuel goes out to inspect it. Head inside, graffiti the door and grab his keys.

Tread Harshly

Before you even get to the whole sprinkler business for the last one, you’ll spot a nice square of wet cement. Walk across it if you wish, and you’ll eventually be given the chance to write some optional graffiti here. Choose as you wish and the trophy or achievement should pop without a problem.

Permanent Record

This optional graffiti requires a bit of exploring in the boy’s dormitories at Blackwell Academy. You’ll need to first head into Elliot’s room and read through his journal that’s in his drawer. Once you’ve done this, you can erase the whiteboard outside of his room and mock him with some graffiti in classic Chloe fashion.

Vanity Fare

When Chloe is finally convinced into being a part of the play, she’ll head into the girl’s dressing room and get into her costume. Once she’s changed, you’ll be able to graffiti the mirror to your right with the lipstick she’s got.

Creature Feature

For this final optional graffiti in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm episode 2, you’ll need to get Rachel’s mom out of the kitchen. First, go ahead and put the plates on the dinner table, ask James what he wants to drink, and then put the glass on the table.

When Chloe is asked to light the candles on the table, Rachel’s mom will walk over toward the sink. You can now get to work on that news article on the fridge. Interact with it and you can optional graffiti it however you see fit. Even the small victories feel good, right?
