Judgment is the latest title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developers behind the critically-acclaimed Yakuza series. While Judgment isn’t a Yakuza game, it shares plenty of similarities, including the series’ setting of the Red Light District, Kamurocho. Naturally, fans of Yakuza will probably be wondering, is Judgment coming to PC? Here’s what you need to know.
Is Judgment Coming to PC?
Unfortunately, at this point there are no concrete plans to bring Judgment to PC. It’s not an unreasonable question, however, as multiple Yakuza games have made their way to PC over the last couple of years.
Yakuza 0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2 are all available on PC, so it’s possible that we might see Judgment get the same treatment. In fact, Sega has been making a huge push as of late to bring more of their games to PC, including titles like Catherine, Bayonetta, Valkyria Chronicles, and more.
Judgment looks especially likely after an interview with the game’s producer, Kazuki Hosokawa, by IGN Japan. In it, Hosokawa talks about the hurdle being lowered by Yakuza being put on Steam, saying:
“I think that we were able to increase the player base because people who do not have PS4 can also play the games. At present, [Judgment] has not been decided yet, but it is considered as one of the options. We are in the process of considering the possibilities not only for Steam but also for other formats.”
Obviously, PC players shouldn’t give up hope on seeing Judgment make its way over, and we’ll make sure to update this article should anything official ever be announced.
That covers everything you might need to know about if Judgement is coming to PC. For even more tips, guides, and info on the game, make sure to stick with Twinfinite.
Judgment releases on June 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4.
