Is Assassin’s Creed Origins Xbox One X Enhanced?

Recommended Videos

Since they’ve had an extra year between releases, Ubisoft has had more time to work on the quality of Assassin’s Creed Origins than they would have done with prior instalments. That is more than evident in the beauty of Egypt, the game’s setting. However, some fans that are planning on picking up an Xbox One X when it launches are wondering if the game will be enhanced on their shiny new console.

Thankfully, it has been confirmed that the game will run at 4k on Xbox One X, at 30 frames per second, making the world Ubisoft has created look even more impressive. The game is said to use dynamic resolution scaling to maintain frame rate stability, with that being far more stable on Xbox One X. However, at the time of launch, HDR compatibility is not available in Assassin’s Creed Origins, with the functionality coming to the game on Nov.6 as part of an update. That will undoubtedly make the game look even more stunning than it already does. We will be sure to let you know as soon as that update is rolled out.
