If you’re eagerly anticipating more news about Breath of the Wild 2 and you just want more content set within that universe, Age of Calamity should probably at least be on your radar. Set as a prequel to Breath of the Wild, the game follows the journey of Link, Zelda, Impa, and the four champions as they learn how to deal with the Calamity itself. Here’s how to get more cooking recipes in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity.
Getting Recipes in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity
Just like in Breath of the Wild, you’ll be able to cook meals in Age of Calamity to give yourself bonuses during a mission. However, the big difference in this game is that you now need to have acquired a recipe in order to be able to cook it.
At the start of the game, you should already have access to a handful of basic recipes, but you can get even more by completing missions and turning in materials to complete quests. From your map, go over to the Quests tab and check the category labeled Cooking.
Here, you’ll see a bunch of cooking-related quests. For each quest that you turn in, you’ll be rewarded with a new recipe. The quests simply require you to turn in materials and ingredients, most of which can be obtained by purchasing them from stores or from area exploration during a mission.
In addition to that, it’s also possible to get recipes as rewards for completing main story missions.
After obtaining a recipe, it’ll show up in the cooking sub-menu whenever you’re on the mission ready screen. From there, as long as you have the required ingredients, you’ll be able to prepare one meal from your list of available recipes and reap those bonuses for the next mission you embark on.
That’s all you need to know about how to get more recipes in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
