Press A on Star Bits or Star Potions to increase a Sparks level. Star Bits act as experience while Star Potions increase to the next level immediately.
Each Spark in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope offers a unique ability so it is worth entering some different battles and testing them all out to see which one fits your play style before you decide to spend your hard-earned Star Bits and Star Potions.
Star Potions can be especially limited so a good tip to keep in mind is to use Star Potions for the more expensive levels. Level 2 only costs 100 Star Bits and Level 3 only costs 200 Star Bits. Feel free to spend on those, but you’re looking at 350 Star Bits after that to get your Sparks to Level 4. You are much better off saving Star Potions for those.
You can find a couple of Star Potions in the shop of each planet for the price of one Planetary Coin. Once you buy both potions, you will no longer see them in the shop and will likely only come upon more by completing some quests in the game. Also, each Planetary Coin is specific to a planet so you cannot spend one planet’s currency on another.
That’s all you need to know about how to level up Sparks in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
