Elden Ring, like most of FromSoftware’s games, has an incredibly satisfying sense of character progression. The sky is the limit when it comes to build variety, and while some items and skills are incredibly specific, others are more utilitarian in nature. One such incantation is Flame, Grant Me Strength, which can be of use to just about every build out there. Let’s take a look at how to get Flame, Grant Me Strength in Elden Ring.
Flame, Grant Me Strength is an incantation of the Fire Monk’s that can be used as a straight damage buff, making it useful to just about everybody. Specifically, it requires 15 Faith to use, costs 28 FP to activate, and grants a 20% increase to both physical and fire damage for 30 seconds. If you are running a Faith build and have access to it, Flame, Grant Me Strength even stacks with Golden Vow. Simply put, it’s an awesome addition to any arsenal, and you can get it at the very start of the game, provided you know where to look.
How to Get the Flame, Grant Me Strength Incantation in Elden Ring
- Travel to the Fort Gael North Site of Grace.
Navigate your way to the Fort Gael North Site of Grace, which you can see pictured below. If you have not been to Fort Gael before, enter Caelid on foot (or on Torrent) from Limgrave East and immediately turn south. The fortress on the horizon is Fort Gael.
- Make your way to the Fort itself.
Continue southward until you are standing at the base of the wall of the Fort. There are a bunch of enemies around who, depending on what level you are, can be really tough to deal with. Thankfully you can avoid them all fairly easily with the aid of Torrent.
- Turn east and avoid the Greatbow-armed Redmane Knight.
Turn to the east and follow the wall of the Fort. Be careful, there is a Redmane Knight armed with a Greatbow who can deal serious damage to you, so move quickly.
- Continue to follow the line of the Fort’s wall.
Past the Redmane Knight, the path will narrow, but continue onwards. Again, keep moving if you have not dealt with the Knight, as his special arrow rain attack deals enormous damage.
- Survey the Manouverable Flamethrowers.
Just ahead you will see two of the Maneuvarable Flamethrower enemies, and just behind on a corpse lies our prize. These enemies are tough, but if you are quick you can sprint by them and grab Flame, Grant Me Strength and make it out without too much hassle.
