There are various types of levels to be found in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but when most gamers think ‘Mario level’, they probably have a certain thing in mind. So, how many levels are there in Super Mario Bros. Wonder?

Super Mario Bros. Wonder has 69 regular traditional platforming levels, not counting the 10 Special World levels. That’s a total of 79 traditional platforming levels in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

But traditional platforming only takes up half of Super Mario Bros. Wonder’s game time; there’s much more to see.

In addition to the 79 regular levels, there are also 20 Badge Challenge levels. Badge Challenges are small levels that test your skill with a new Badge through a series of obstacles. There’s one Wonder Seed, three 10-flower coins, and a flagpole at the end of every Badge Challenge level, but they’re much smaller than traditional levels.

Another type of level found in Super Mario Bros. Wonder is Break Time!, of which there are 19 in the game. Break Time! levels are basically bite-sized challenges that you must complete to get the Wonder Seed. There’s one Wonder Seed, no 10-flower coins, and no flagpole at the end of the Break Time! levels.

Wiggler Races are another fun level variant found in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, of which there are three. Wiggler Races pit the player up against Wiggler as they race to the finish. These levels contain one Wonder Seed, no 10-flower coins, and no flagpole.

Six KO Arenas are also featured in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. KO Arenas aren’t levels in any traditional sense, but rather arenas filled with enemies to clear in a certain time limit. There are three 10-flower coins, one Seed, and no flagpoles per KO Arena.

Finally, there are four Search Party levels in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Search Party is a fun little scavenger hunt for a number of Wonder Tokens set in a closed arena. There’s no time limit for Search Party levels, thankfully, and only one Wonder Seed per level.

That’s a total of 131 levels in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In addition to these 131 levels, there’s also 10 Houses and 11 Poplin Shops, but these aren’t really levels in any real sense.
