Halo Infinite: How to Activate Skulls

Skulls have always been a staple of the Halo series, offering players the chance to modify their gameplay experience as they push through a chapter of Master Chief’s epic adventure. These things don’t just automatically toggle on when you find them, though. Instead, you’ll need to enable them yourself. Here’s how to activate skulls in Halo Infinite.

Unlocking Skulls

Before you can activate a skull, you’ll need to unlock it by finding it somewhere throughout Zeta Halo or one of the more linear missions in Halo Infinite. You can check out our Halo Infinite skull locations guide here for a quick rundown of where to find them all.

Activating Skulls in Halo Infinite

To activate a Skull, you’ll need to exit your game and return to the Campaign menu.

Next, select ‘Load Game’ instead of Continue, and then select the Save File you want to load up.

After choosing this, you’ll then have Difficulty and Skulls menus you can choose. Select Skulls, and then you can choose whichever ones you’ve found and unlocked to activate.

When you want to disable a skull, follow the same process and toggle it off.
