Apart from a fully explorable world, GTA V also includes three different playable characters: Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. Players can switch between each person at any time when off-mission, while the other two characters will be off busy with their daily lives. The process is actually really simple once you learn how to do it. So if you’re using the default controls for GTA V on PC, your left Alt button should be the key to switch your character. One good example is during a heist mission, each person will be assigned in their own posts. Michael will be grappling down the building, Trevor will be in charge of the helicopter, and Franklin will provide cover with his sniper rifle. During the escape, players can then reorganize who will pilot the chopper and use the sniper rifle.
