God of War only released last week but the game has received a lot a updates, with new ones be downloaded almost daily. Now, exactly a week since the game’s launch date, update 1.16 is available, and here’s everything you need to know about the changes it makes to the game.

Unfortunately, as has been the case with most of the other updates, the update 1.16 patch notes don’t say much about what it actually changes. All it says is, “various bug fixes and improvements”, which could be anything from graphical changes to mechanical alterations that we are unlikely to notice. It is great that Sony Santa Monica are making improvements and changes so regularly, no matter how small they are, but we will update this piece here if we work out exactly what the changes are. They’ll probably be minor ones that people don’t notice quickly, though. There’s no news on the promised photo mode, for you to make the most of God of War’s beauty, but that will probably arrive soon.

That’s all you need to know about God of War’s update 1.16. For more on the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide.
