Here’s everything you need to know about how to get Haze Weave in God of War.

God of War gives Kratos more options than ever for taking down his enemies and protecting himself. You can now equip and upgrade various sets of armor, pommels for the Leviathan Axe, and talismans, which can all alter some aspect of Kratos’ level or stats.

Of course, to do these kinds of upgrades in God of War, you’ll need various types of resources, one of which is Haze Weave.

Haze Weave is a rare resource that can only be found in the realm of Niflheim, just like Aesirbane and Niflheim Alloy. Essentially, these three items work as different tiers of the same item, and you’ll need them to upgrade some of the best armor in the game.

While exploring the maze in Niflheim, Kratos will have to look for red chests, and also have the chance to complete challenges and find gold chests. Keep an eye out for both of these chests, as Haze Weave can randomly drop from, meaning you’ll have to put in a little bit of legwork to get as much as you want.

Unfortunately, because the layout of the maze on Niflheim changes everytime you visit it, we can’t give you exact locations for Haze Weave. However, every chest you open in the realm will generally drop one type of three resources.

The three tiers of items drop at different rates; Niflheim Alloy is the most common, with Haze Weave the next most common, and finally Aesirbane.

Some of the gold chests will require mist echoes to open, which you can get from nearly every single chest in God of War. If you’re planning on taking some of God of War’s end game content, you’ll definitely want to stock up on a bit of Haze Weave so you can go in with the best armor and weapons.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get Haze Weave in God of War. For more tips and info, make sure to search Twinfinite or take a look at our extensive God of War wiki. Here are a few other guides at a glance, for you to check out while playing through the game.
