How Long God of War Is and How Many Chapters There Are

The new God of War game for the PS4 continues Kratos’ story, except this time, the series is delving deep into Norse mythology instead of Greek, which fans have been used to. The game itself is pretty lengthy and, even if you choose to focus solely on progressing through the main story, it’ll still take you some time to complete it.

In our playthrough of God of War, we clocked in at around 30 hours while playing on the game’s Give Me A Balanced Experience difficulty. We completed a handful of side missions, but certainly did not exhaust all activities there are to do in the game outside of playing the story. If you choose to explore all the realms fully and pursue optional objectives, you can easily add another 10 to 15 hours to your playtime.
