Clearing the Fog by Cleansing Torii Gates

To clear the fog in Ghostwire Tokyo, you’ll need to cleanse the Torii Gates in each different region or area of Tokyo.

To do this, you’ll first need to locate them, marked with an arch icon on your map. When you’ve made your way towards one, you’ll then need to press L2 to purge the Torii Gate. Keep in mind, though, groups of enemies can sometimes be guarding these, waiting for you to show up.

Upon pressing L2, a small animation will play out, but that’s not always the end of it.

Occasionally a strong enemy might interrupt the cleansing, forcing you to defeat them before you can finish off, and other times there will be multiple, smaller Torii Gates you’ll need to cleanse in order to clear the fog from an area of the map.

It’s worth noting that you can’t see or access all Torii Gates from the very beginning of the game. You’ll need to continue to progress the main story to uncover more and, in turn, reveal more of the map.

That’s everything you need to know on how to clear fog in Ghostwire Tokyo. For more tips, tricks and guides on the game, be sure to check out the links below.
