With a larger emphasis on tactical gameplay, you’ll want as much control over the experience as possible. That includes the basic look and feel of the gunplay. While switching shoulder view doesn’t directly affect how your character plays, it’s mostly to help your comfort level, for whichever view you feel best playing basically.

Breakpoint is all about letting you customize everything about your gameplay experience, and that includes how your camera works. Luckily it’s easy to change.

If you want to free up that button for something else, however, you can do that too.

Remapping Shoulder View Control

If you want to change the controls, first press Options/Menu to bring up the main menu, then navigate over to the Options Menu, noted by the little ‘Cog’.

Now, select settings and use RT/R2 three times to access the Controller menu. Choose ‘Customize Controls’ and again use RT/R2 to get to the ‘Combat & Squad’ option. Now you can select whichever button you want to remap the shoulder view.
